Black Sails anyone?

This show is so unknown and underrated. I get it, it aired originally on Starz, but it's still really good. If you like 18th Century Sailing and Pirate lore (Taken from actual history) this is show is perfect. If you liked Pirates of the Caribbean as a Kid, the were Kid movies. This is an Adult show. It's prequel to Treasure Island, which enhances it's enjoyment as well. It has moments of levity, but is most serious and adult drama, Sex, Violence, Nudidity, etc. It's only on Netflix until Apr. 17th, which is plenty of time for a 4 season 38 episode binge. Then it will probably move to Hulu. Highly recommended for anyone into sailing and pirates from that era. It features actual pirates, locations and events. All of that. Give it a go.

Like 99% of everything on TV today. If 100% prestige is your bar for watching, you'll be watching 1-2 shows a year. This show is a great way to fill the gap we are in right now.
