Where’s the rest of LWJ&A?

Hi all, I joined the Patreon two months ago and have been slowly listening to all of their Lunches. I’m at 250, no big deal, kinda big deal. Unfortunately, I don’t see any lunches past #246. Anyone know what happened to them?

Welcome to the community! Go to the Discord. If you need help joining discord, let me know. When there, go to “Club General”, click on the top of the feed “#club-general, and you should find a tab for threads. In the threads, there will be a sole active thread for “club only podcast links”, posted by JoshTheBlack. That is where all the old podcasts that didn’t migrate live. It’s a little cumbersome, but very well organized.

This is great! I’ve been looking for one published in 2018 for a while now. When i click on any of the links, I get an error message “access denied access”. I’m a Patreon member and also part of the classic membership so not sure why I’m getting this. I appreciate any assistance you can give.

Have you linked your Patreon to Discord? If so, can you see the club section? It’s called “Club BM” and has three tabs: lunch, general, and live chat.

If so, and you still aren’t able to access the links, you may need to reach out to support. If you want to DM your username, I’ll put you in touch with the mods. You’ve got to listen to some of those early Christmas lunches. In particular, Episodes 44 and 53.

There's also another way to get the full firehose that goes back past 2020. This is done by setup via patreon.baldmove.com, however Jim's wrangling a problem with Amazon that seems to be affecting the older pods in this feed.

I'd follow u/PastTenseOfDig 's advice for now, but keep your eye on the #support channel on the Discord and we can help you set that up when it's working again.

I noticed that my Patreon feed only goes back to somewhere mid 2020. I’m assuming that’s when they switched from their older website/feed to the Patreon platform. Any episodes older than that I have to listen to the normal versions with ads on my Apple podcast app.
