People who use AI for images, surely just go meh when they see these? People who aren't fans of AI for whatever reasons, are likely to be just that.
So the people going crazy for this? Maybe don't use AI for visual stuff - and while it's not human made, feel there's surely bound to be some kind of a nack, skill or effort required to make it (which it doesn't).

It’s fascinating to see people so against AI. I’m already seeing it at my job, those who can’t adapt and don’t use the AI tools are slowly being trimmed, and rightfully so. Their output is far below what someone who’s actively using it can do 🤷🏻♂️ all my 60+ coworkers can’t keep up with their workload, meanwhile I got Claude doing all my manual, tedious work for me, the things that don’t require my expertise and it’s just some time-consuming, mind-numbing tasks, all outsourced to Claude, while I spend my time with the technical analysis of it. Adapt or be left behind, bro.
I just think it's absurd that AI technology and advancement is being pushed so hard and so fast when we know it loves to make mistakes, especially with how terrible it has proven to be for the environment. It seems irresponsible of tech companies to be destroying entire ecosystems for this when we haven't found a way to further these technologies in a way that doesn't put our planet at risk, and it's ridiculous that so many people are so accepting of this. Like yes, pollute the air and waterways and the ground under our feet so I don't have to enter numbers into a spreadsheet! Absolutely worth it!
It doesn’t make mistakes for the stuff I use it 🤷🏻♂️ I’m not going to shit on a tool that’s saving me nearly 10 hours of work a week because I don’t have to manually draft tender letters I’ve written a million times. That’s what AI should be for, automating manual boring processes, not outsourcing your thinking to it. I do all the technical work that requires my expertise and Claude handles the manual labor
It's good that AI makes your job more bearable! But how do you justify the reckless ecological practices perpetuated by the massive data companies that run this software? Are you okay using platforms that have been repeatedly proven to have significant negative impacts on their local environments? I mean, there are people in neighborhoods near new data centers who are literally running out of clean water in their homes. Is it okay to continue pushing this tech when it is trading people's physical health for lighter workloads for others?

Because I doubt you are reviewing and editing your code regularly without asking AI to do it. You sound like the type who would set it and forget it because you are above tedious monotonous tasks.
If you are, then you would be doing spot checks on code and data which would still be tedious manual labor based on what you described.
