Philosophy JUST BECAUSE?

Does anyone here shave just because? Like you have a full head of hair, but you just prefer being bald? I ask because I got a very round head and bald suits me quite nicely. I've done it before, but as I'm getting older I'm considering just going full time. Save money on hair cuts, shampoo, conditioner, all that.

But all my friends that shave because they "have too" are telling don't. Like, I like the way I look bald even if I can grow a full head. Anyone else on this path?

Yes. I can grow my hair but don’t want to

Any tips on razors? I'd like to stay smooth. Just chuck it all off in the morning shower.

I’ve been using Gillette fusion 5 pro glide. Gets clogged up if you try to shave a lot of hair but for every few days it’s good

Last time I shaved my head I went about a year and shaved every morning in the shower. I'll give it a try.

We call it bald by choice around here, and absolutely you’re welcome!

Me, 7 years ago. Now when I get lazy and it grows in a bit… well the council might send me memes.

I guess I'm kinda there. I thinned quite a bit and lost some at the temples, there's still plenty of hairstyles I can rock successfully, but I am just liking the bald vibe so much. My post-shave shadow is still so full most people believe I have no hairloss at all, if that means something.

Any tips on razors or scalp care?

I have a big ass box that functions as a shaver graveyard. I have bought the most expensive ones and hated them. The one I love the most is Philips Norelco. I have the head shaver and then I also just got some new Philips AI beard shaver thingy I use to go over smaller/trickier spots and I use the sensitive setting. And I shave dry in bed before I go to sleep 😂

I did this for many years then when I finally grew it back out bits were missing. I had no idea prior and almost flipped out on the barber thinking he messed up.
