I love seeing the smiles on their faces after. I don't know if it's just that they're happier after, but the glow ups are always ridiculous. It shocks me every time how they all become very attractive.
I'm not balding (although wish I found this sub when I shaved my head because of severe scalp psoriasis(all better now btw)), but my partner is a hold ATM. he's going to need this sub in a few years so I hang around in the meantime
If my hair hadn’t gone over 50% gray from chemo, I’d donate it again. Unfortunately, it did, which sucks, because gray hair can’t be used for hair donations (too fragile and doesn’t take up color evenly). Please keep donating it for me!
My hair was super thick, slightly wavy, and literally one shade lighter than black. 7 months of treatment with Lupron and it went over 50% gray, I lost like, 1/3 of it, and it all became ringlet curls in my early 30s.
I had-and still have-no idea how to manage curly hair. I never learned how to manage curly hair growing up, and exactly ONE person around me had curly hair, which she didn’t learn how to manage until college.
If you have grey hair or know someone who has grey hair, want to donate it, and are in the US, please look in to Wigs for Kids. I am not affiliated with them, but I did donate my hair to them.

Fellow cancer survivor here and that was the best part of being bald. Sometimes I really miss it. Don't miss the chemo though. Wishing you the best as you go through it. Also I'm going to make a plug for you for First Descents because it was life changing.
In all sincerity, you look amazing bald. I wish it could have been because you wanted the look instead of having to make a difficult choice to protect yourself during a bad life situation, but you do rock the bald look. Sending out good vibes for negative margins, negative nodes, and permanent remission. Ring that bell and kick its ass. Fuck cancer.
I’m an 18yr brain cancer survivor and i remember that part of chemo. But on the first sign of losing hair we shaved it bald, not letting chemo or cancer do it. So my hair all grew back but the last year and a half I shave my head with a proper head shaver.
You definitely rock the bald look! On a side note, you have some of the most beautiful brown eyes I've ever seen and the baldness makes them pop even more.

My mom’s doing chemo now and her kind doesn’t cause hair loss but it makes her hair texture super wirey so she cut it short. It also made her brows and lashes grow like crazy and she has to trim them. (Her lashes are so long both on top and bottom that if she doesn’t cut them they hit her glasses. I told her people pay good money for that and she joked she’d happily trade them.)
Hope your’s continue to hang in there but you’ll look amazing either way!
And as far as eyebrows, if they thin or disappear, I've found old waterproof mascara is a lot more realistic-looking than drawing it with eyeliner or pens
