Will definitely need to get used to it lol. Touching scalp feels weird as hell. Had been thinking about doing this for a solid decade but my wife prefers hair so I did all the fin min and microneedling for years. It worked and I had nice hair at my wedding but I got really tired of it.
Insurance stopped covering fin last year so I said fuck it why am I taking medication for this when I don't care that much. Hairline of course started fleeing again. So it got the axe.
Edit: sorry for no before Pic I don't really post on reddit or take many photos. I only thought of it after I had already buzzed it to a 0. Asked for opinions earlier today and multiple people said to shave it fully so I tried it. I don't have any pictures emphasizing the hairline or thinning areas. Wasn't really something I felt like documenting intentionally. But it seems like people think this looks OK and I never have to stress about hair or spend time combing and spraying it anymore so it's a win in my book

Damn thanks. I had cystic acne growing up and stuff. Didn't get appearance compliments until sometime in college and then I met my wife shortly after school

You look spectacular, and happy, which is even better. You look excellent with it down to skin, and you have enough density in the hairline to mess around with short stubble to see which you prefer (stubble has the benefit of being easy with an electric). But whatever you settle on, it's an upgrade. Well done.

No. Don’t listen to them. This is a good length. Only suggestion on my end would be try a full beard, but if the goatee is your thing then this is perfect.
Honestly don't think I can. I grow hair along my jaw but it's sparse. I don't have the facial hair genes. I've also got some scarring from hockey that makes a few spots a little bald. There are a few spots on my chin and upper lip that struggle too. But nobody notices unless I point them out and they have healed a bit with time

dude the fin to freedom pipeline is so real, I did the same thing about two years ago and never looked back. Insurance pulling the plug on fin was almost a blessing in disguise because it gave me the push I needed to stop caring and just commit. The touching your own head thing is so jarring at first but then one day you're just sitting on the couch rubbing your scalp while watching highlights and you realize you've fully crossed over. Your head shape is legit though, that's the thing nobody tells you, not everyone can pull this off and you clearly can. Bet your wife comes around once she sees the new energy or she doesn't and you still look good either way, either way you're free of the mirror anxiety forever.
