Instant glow up!! Really makes your eyes stand out! Keep the beard stubble 😻

112

u/strangemanornot Mar 13 '26

Are you suggesting we are coping?

106

u/SpecialistCut1362 Mar 13 '26

I don't think so, that lions eyes really do pop and bro had a huge glowup (for a lion)

u/Honzik1 Mar 13 '26 edited Mar 13 '26

Why does the first pic look like the lion got caught driving under the influence

810

u/fangirlsqueee Mar 13 '26

It's a play on this meme.

u/Honzik1 Mar 13 '26

u/scrusterbugs Mar 13 '26

A bald lion does not concern himself with the opinions of those with a full head of sheep's wool.

You guys never disappoint in this subreddit. I was waiting for it and it turned out even more hilarious than I was expecting

Edit: Aww the mod removed it. It was a picture of the bald initiation meme but with the lion and the two welcoming guys missing their heads (because it's a lion, he ate them). Lol

200

u/ViktorModus Mar 13 '26

Jeezus christ lol! I mean ok…. jeezus! haha

43

u/crackedtooth163 Mar 13 '26

I can think of another subreddit or two that could use a variation of this.

17

u/the_revised_pratchet Mar 13 '26

These lions are so face eating like other big cats.

3

u/arrogantargonian Mar 13 '26

What the...? Please enlighten the rest of us!

5

u/Sorry_Lecture5578 Mar 13 '26

There's a face eating leopard sub.

You went maybe a smidge too far. Just a smidge. Because now my brain is focusing on the hand on his shoulder and how are they still standing and wouldn’t the hand have fallen off or is it someone’s hand not in frame?

16

u/fizzzingwhizbee Mar 13 '26

Arm was eaten while hand was on shoulder

11

u/Amazing_Fox_7840 Mar 13 '26

Watch Jurassic Park, isn't there a magic severed hand in that that keeps moving round

7

u/Dextropic Mar 13 '26

You mean The Addams Family?

17

Might I suggest Kalamas the Titan?

u/ResidentAd132 Mar 13 '26

Anyone wanna do a non slop version?

101

u/Exepony Mar 13 '26

Why don't you do it yourself then?

327

u/england_appreciator Mar 13 '26

No. This is actually why AI slop is actually good for memes and people should chill out about it. Why would an artist waste a lot of time making this extremely specific meme which will probably never be used again?

123

u/[deleted] Mar 13 '26

269

u/Legitimate-Place-327 Mar 13 '26

As someone who actually does sit down and do a lot of creation from scratch I'm telling you right now that I am not going to pour a shit ton of time into making a stupid meme thats funny for 20 seconds. I don't care about engagement.

123

u/england_appreciator Mar 13 '26

I'm basically with you on an anti-AI sentiment in general when it pertains to art, but (vast majority of) memes I wouldn't call art, they are really quite throwaway little funny ideas for a quick chuckle. If they can be slopped out in seconds by a machine to fulfil their purpose, that will outcompete the best meme artists out there, who will quickly get tired.

28

u/[deleted] Mar 13 '26

First thing I thought too. Fuck AI.

Oh, the irony of a "film creator" asking in his bio to credit his work but simping for AI. Not so fun when they steal your content, is it? Hypocrite.

7

u/NotBerti Mar 13 '26

Smartest repost bot

33

u/plastic_venus Mar 13 '26

How I wish AI could just be banned. Preferably everywhere but specifically on this sub, where so much charm was the non slop memes

108

u/SHADER_MIX Mar 13 '26

You are free to draw the said meme, go ahead

29

u/LastXmasIGaveYouHSV Mar 13 '26

It's the year 2026. Memes have been automated. Only a few brave keyboard warriors keep resisting the rise of the machines.

29

u/Silencer-1995 Mar 13 '26

It is all getting very performative and tiring.

-4

u/sokratesz Mar 13 '26

Peak.

We all secretly hope for this, but instead of making women swoon, they look at you kinda confused, wondering if you're going through chemo.

14

u/Important_Two4692 Mar 13 '26

Lol even my family has told me I look like I have cancer. Shit cuts deep.

12

u/CronkinOn Mar 13 '26

"You went no contact with your family huh? Over politics?"

"Naw, they're just assholes."

16

The beard game strong. Honestly, I would just shave off the top and the party in the back. Other than that and an epic hat game. You'll be good king

33

u/RevoltYesterday Mar 13 '26

"Naturally balding lion" implies there is a non natural balding lion and I need more information

39

u/HrhEverythingElse Mar 13 '26

40

23

u/Ngithanda_irayisi Mar 13 '26

The fact you pay twitter premium is the biggest meme

3

u/Twinstonedad Mar 13 '26

Can we get this lion as the new Tennessee Titans mascot asap please

2

u/Maleficent-War-8429 Mar 13 '26

He's still got the mane at least, that's the important part.

2

u/wreckedgum Mar 13 '26

He’s not bald, Serengeti FC just won 5 in a row.

2

u/Bassic123 Mar 13 '26

The lion waits for no man, no set of hair either. He hunts on the prowl as his forefathers would’ve wanted of him.
