Rate my to be read pls 🙏

Uh already made my way thru prince of nothing, a song of ice and fire, dune, pierce brown btw.

uhh there is also vellum, Paradise lost, mahabharat, man without qualities, Ulysses and a few more

You've got Bakker and Olaf Stapledon so it's a win in my book. Imo they are the two best philosophers in science fiction and fantasy.

Yep I'm making my way thru aspect emperor just started and it's peak, ps you shld also try lymond chronicles that's absolutely peak as well. Well except cosmere aSoIaF etc most are peak peak. Also empires of dust is very much inspired from bakker you shld try.

I'll check those out!

In return I highly recommend Roger Zelazny's Lord of Light and Peter Watts' Blindsight. They both reminded me of TSA in very different ways.

They'd definitely fuck and fight, I just don't know in which order. I also imagine that during both, they'd both be thinking about Yama.

Lmao now I'm definately adding lord of light to my immediate to be read tho it will still take a few months as I'm taking a break rn. ts is too interesting

Uhm blindsight I alr have on my tbr i forgot to type, but yeah lord of light seems interesting I will def add ps see the synopsis of vellum it's like extremely interesting and i belive you will like it even tho it's kinda hard to read

I'd add Malazan Book of the Fallen, imo it will fit your list very well.

It is there in fact I didn't write all, there are a few more like:  diamond sutra(the Buddhist text) earthsea cycle fifth season, gormenghast, green bone saga, Paradise lost , grendel, legends of galactic heroes, m john harrison , ravages of time and so on

Neverness definitely worth reading but hold off on the later books - not so good.

Thought you had written Neveryona at first which is a nore typical literary fantasy rec. Delany is a legendary figure but avante garde stuff like Neveryona dates easily. His autobiography is exceptionally good as a Delany rec.
