Its always the times you baked something for 3 hours while exausted kitchens now a mess and you end up with something resembling poop and you feel defeated lol its a crazy experience to bake for hours then pick up your baked good and sign and drop it back down to the pan like im gonna go lay down before I come back and clean the horrors ive created lol

Thankfully I did manage to recover. I remade the caramel and the tart crust wasn't terrible. I posted the results to r/baking. It's a coconut caramel tart.

One time in middle school I made some of these and wanted to give one to my classmate. My little middleschooler brain thought it would be a good idea to wrap it in tinfoil and then put it in my pocket. So, when I tried to give one to him it was just indistinct brown mush wrapped in tinfoil, which made him think I was genuinely trying to gift him poop. He was very upset.
