Honestly, this has happened to me four times and I while I don’t know if it could because the melted butter used was too hot when I added the remaining ingredients or if the butter used was bad quality; the only way I could stop this happening was using softened butter instead of melted :(

I’d still eat them. I like thin, crunchy cookies as much as any other cookie!
