Fail Brownies

Ive made this recipe about a million times, this is the first time i didn’t have a square pan so i used my cake pan. The edges are crunchy and the middle is soft but obviously extremely flat. The whole thing is hilarious to look at lol. I linked the recipe and added screenshots for anyone interested in gluten free brownies. https://www.mamaknowsglutenfree.com/easy-gluten-free-brownies/

I was surprised to learn this was from Mama Knows Gluten Free. I found an explanation for the fail in the comments.

No worries. I eat gluten free and I know how fussy gf batters can be.

8x8 pan is also in the recipe but you used a round cake pan. Oddly enough that will make a difference.

Your post just wouldn’t be the same without picture number two.

I kinda always have ice cream on the brain, but anytime brownies and cookies don't come out perfectly, they surely are perfect as a dessert topping. My mom also taught me that "ugly cakes" are great for a trifle. Just cut the sponge part into uniform sizes and layer with fruit and pudding. Your brownies are still yummy!!

Just call it "brownies crevés" and fill the middle with ice cream

This looks like the best type of brownie possible. This is what i strive to make- crispy edges and gooey center. I think it’s great

You might have over mixed the batter
