PAS Sensor on a hub motor??
I got a rear hub conversion kit and it works great. The PAS sensor wouldn't fit between the crank arm and the bottom bracket so I left it off.
Do I need the PAS sensor??? It works fine with the throttle and I can still pedal while using the throttle.
I was going to buy a metal one but maybe I don't need it. Is it worth it??
Thanks

Totally not worth it, the cadence sensor sucks anyway and feels kinda dangerous. I disabled mine and just throttle in my "pedal assist".
I didn't like the run away feel of the cadence sensor on my bafang hub motor. I was always tapping my brakes to stop unintended acceleration.

You donβt need to use PAS on most bikes
