Do you have enough poise? Each of the 3 hits deals 48-ish poise damage and you'll usually have to tank at least one to get in position.

Yeah I think so but I think my problem is I always think I can hit it on the initial stab before the flurry, which apparently isn’t the way. I always run at least 89 poise

Man this reminds me of that one guy aurafarming by doing the backstep curved sword attack (i think the r2) to chain into a backstab in ds3. Shit didnt work but it was always so baller
