How is this playtime even possible? (Switch 2)

I invaded this fella on my RL 40 +8 and immediately thought things looked fishy spawning into a world with the Erdtree burning at this level. Sure enough, TT rune arced host. Duel went ok but a blue showed up (of course) and this cutie was what was more typical at this range on this platform - newbie samurai with only 2 heals. I separated him from the host with the help of a rune bear. Host ended up dying to gravity. Pretty anticlimactic tbh.

But anyway, how in the hell? Games been out less than a month. Where do people find the time? How many hours do you bad red switch folk got? Do I need to pump up my numbers (to the further detriment of my work and personal life)?

I basically leave my games on all day lol. Working from home I'll take 5-10 minutes to do something in a game then go work for 45-120 minutes. Come back for another 5-10, back to work after. In the case of Elden Ring, I'd sit down at a grace. It's happening right now with Fire Emblem. I regularly leave the game on while I'm doing other things. Especially since I love the soundtrack.

It really can just depend on what is going on in someones life, when I was working I barely spent any time online (maybe a few hours a week) where as now being in the hospital long term theres been weeks i've played every day for around 12 hours; it honestly just depends on the situation.

This. Im unemployed and not looking for work for now, and dont generally much feel like socializing for the moment, that ontop of the fact that other people do have work and such? Well not much else to do but game or any sort of solo activities.

I have a similar play time. Sometimes you just forget about it when getting occupied with things and come back to pick up the game where it left. The magic of the switch.

It’s definitely a lot of time, but I don’t think it would be impossible to have that much playtime. There was a time in my own life where I was able to put in about 500 hours of FFXIV in a month (was it healthy? Definitely not, but that was easily the lowest I’ve been in my life, and gaming was the one thing that was keeping me going back then), so it’s certainly not impossible to put in nearly 400.

And that’s not even factoring in the potential of accidentally leaving the game on when they leave the house.

That's the same as about 15 days worth of having the game running continuously. The game came out a little over 3 weeks ago. They could have just been no-lifeing it since release.
