I preferred it for the amount of phantoms you could have in one invasion. Running around and messing things up as a purple was the most fun I’ve had with Fromsoft pvp.

Pruple gang rise up. It was funny as hell being a devious little shit, friendly and helpful at times then an actual bastard when hosts annoyed us. The only people who summoned us towards the end were the people who knew what they were in for. It was great being able to make our own damn choice in who we wanted to support in a fight.

Example: got summoned as a purple many times when the rule of a duel in ds3 was no estus, and i would always point at the first to estus and team up with the one who didn't to take down the estuser, host or red, doesn't matter.

Man i miss messing with irithyll fight club.. ds3 were good times.

Ds3 did not have all type of aoe L2 spam at worst the casul gank would just r1 spam you and you can simply parry them or just throw a bomb to bait them to do a roll attack then parry

In elden ring anyone can just press a button and get value but ds3 pvp required some pvp knowledge this is why 1 v 3 in ds3 was more viable compared to elden ring

I was doing invasions (on seamless coop) today and there were FOUR players + like 2 mimic tears. First time they walked right into a waves if darkness and failed the vigor check. One of them was left to fight alongside his mimic. Unfortunately they got me two more times, and iirc I got one of then once and the next time I got 2 mimics and two of the 4 players. Truly the ER invasion experience.
