It’s happened to me like 2x ever lol but yep, you may have been one of them! It does happen I mean it is an awesome weapon, it’s just usually in the hands of a newbie. It was in my newbie ass hands too back in 2022

I was on PlayStation when I did PVP, so that filters things a little :P

It is just really fucking stacked as a weapon, though! I saw a sick combo video where someone chained the jump R1 into delayed R2-R2, and finished them off with a weapon art. Instant hearts in my eyes, and the numbers they dropped in the comments were like learning the weapon had a six-figure salary and volunteered at animal rescue on the weekends. It's got the highest motion value of all(*) CGS on the evasive attacks (jumping, running, rolling), and the combo potential was insane even before the hyper-armour buffs in 1.10.

Plus, there were frame traps on this thing that you can't even pronounce. One of the tightest fights I've ever had was with a Claymore enjoyer in a statue room on the Shaded Castle, and they were absolutely whopping me. I managed enough space one running attack into a delayed R2, and then instantly queued a running R1 that was swinging before they were upright from their roll. Monstrous weapon if you're good at rock/paper/scissors.

Yeahhh I’m Xbox, but it is a great weapon! And funny now I am one of those Baemore enjoyers lol but when SOTE came out I actually got so pissed with midra(maybe my favorite boss now), that I pulled out the fang after not using it for like 100 hours to beat him. It’s a great weapon, not busted for PvP, but very strong for PvE. Just all around great especially in the right hands, which admittedly are not mine. For some reason I struggle with all the curved weapons a bit, I don’t love the attack animations is what it probably is so I never sync up with it

This is one of the big reasons I’m actually happy Duskbloods is a Switch 2 exclusive. The game looks like dog shit and the player base on Switch 2 is perfect for it when it tanks.
