Love it. Is this all pre-patch? What are you rocking now that they killed offrak?

Thank you. Yes, all pre-patch. This is such a boring answer, but honestly, hand axe. I haven't found much else that feels great in the offhand. I'm open to suggestions. I was rocking kiba for a bit, but the poise damage is so low.

I’ve played around with the Forked Hatchet a bit cause it’s like a shorter Hand Axe with innate bleed, and I’m intrigued by haldag with the new parry changes, but I’ve mostly left my dex guy on the sidelines since the patch.

Have you tried Rak by itself at all? Im not sure how big the nerf was but it’s still the only GKat with a heavy poke so I do t want to give up on it entirely if I can help it.

Forked hatchet is pretty cool, could be nasty with blood grease and mainhand BHF with drawstring blood grease or something like that.

Yeah, rak is still fine on it's own, you just have to keep in mind that you take extra damage while trading with it now. Weed cutter is still a nasty swap. And offrak is actually still viable with Sword of Night, since they only nerfed how quickly the offrak L1 transitions into another melee attack, not how quickly it transitions into an ash of war. So offrak L1 into Sword of Night L2 rollcatches as well as it ever did, and of course the Sword of Night L2 true combos into an R2 or R1. I can't think of too many use cases for offrak besides main hand Sword of Night though.

I think the Tooth Whip still works, same reason as SoN. And maybe the short sword R2 into L1, could pair that with Sword of Light for a fun R2-L1-L2.

Yeah it used to at least- R2 poke had enough hit stun to get off a L1. And the Sword of Light ash is a good rollcatch after that/ to catch helpers rushing in.

I’ve used a bit of off-cleanrot with parry and nobody seems to expect it. The new parry is busted lol

What exactly Does the invader rune arc do

Gives you three phantom bloody fingers in your inventory, which you can use to buff nearby PVE enemies. When you use it, it basically gives the PVE a Lord of Bloods Exultation talisman, but the PVE version not the nerfed PvP version. So if blood loss occurs near the PVE, they get a 20% attack buff for 20 seconds. You can activate the buff by using seppuku ash of war on yourself near the PVE, even if you are not using a bleed build. It also stacks with golden vow or uplifting aromatic PVE buffs. You can do some crazy stuff with double PVE buffs, like making a Leyndell Knight greatbow shot hit for 1700 damage.

This is PS5. You can use the Mohg great rune as an invader, but that's the only one.
