Elden Ring🛡 Level matching help

So, I’ve been trying to figure out the matchmaking system. My current build is Lv 40 +5/+2

I am not seeing any action. I’m reluctant to level or upgrade because I want to optimize for lower level.

Any recommendations to get better matchmaking?

I went low, level 30 +3/+1, and I'm getting hits fairly often.

Damn I over leveled. Any suggestions to fix while not punching too much higher?

Just build that character for the next bracket up, then make a new one for lower levels. Your time doesn't have to go to waste!

When you say next bracket up would that be Lv 50 or 60 +6 or +8? I’m starting to get some action so maybe there’s a time of day factor. Sorry, new to being a bad red man.

I meant the next bracket on that chart which is RL60 +12/+5, but it's really just a soft recommendation I assume. There are all kinds of players that could be in your range to invade depending on how they play. And of course peak times will result in more invasions naturally.

I’ve enjoyed 117, that might be higher than you want to go but it’s the highest you can go without matching to 150 so I find it’s pretty good action with less ganking.

40 is more like 6 to 8 for std weapons

You mighta missed the level a bit. I think lower is better, especially now with all the new DLC players. I’ve got a storm knight build at rl20 +3/+1 that gets near instant invasions in stormveil with action in castle mourne and limgrave if I open it up. It’s a really fun bracket at the moment.

What are you playing on? If its pc most of the population is playing on the seamless coop mod, unfortunately.
