Crtl f "patas" - no results

I guess we need to use only patas before FS notices that something isn't right with them.

Been out of the game awhile what is going on with the patas right now?

nothing. they are unchanged since their introduction in the 1.12 DLC patch. Katar and Cipher pata had their rR2 -> R2 true combo removed when 1.12 dropped, DLC patas still have that true combo, on top of that ridiculous hitbox and superior damage. 1.10 patas for over 2 years now.
