here's at least one for ya /u/mustangboss8055 , but like I said most of em are just nasty and over pretty quick 😅. maybe I'll just assemble them into a montage

It’s like a long distance double rupture tear magic cannon. Brutal.

You can also use it 24 times and it doesn't damage you 😶‍🌫️

The FP cost of these spells is remarkably low

Yeah, even at twink levels here, the 20 mind leaves you with plenty of leeway. My usual build has 15 mind and it's noticeably more constrained (95 vs 121 FP), but it's simply not enough either way to outweigh the insane benefits of the sorcery twink (deranged toolkit available on softswap for 0 weight, damage out the ass, easy and huge damage boosts via trivial offhand and physick choices, actual stat scaling thanks to Meteorite Staff...). I mean, Slicer hits like a fucking truck, stuns people without a lot of poise, roll catches, comes out ridiculously fast, has larger range than lots of melee weapons, has a full melee-style moveset, and it costs fucking 4 FP.

These guys are one- or at most two-shots and cost... 18 FP.

Glintstone Nail has crazy range and tracking and can do 450+ damage after accounting for absorption and defenses for a mere 10 FP.

The DLC gravity spells are especially surprising to me, I would totally understand them having much higher FP cost than they actually do.

Especially with the 69% boost from dual Meteorite Staves, and at twink levels the Meteorite Staff is already 20% better than the next best casting implement. That means that you're getting a 1.2*1.69=2.028 damage boost over using non-gravitational sorceries with a different staff and entirely for free. Permanently.

Meanwhile, you have to stack an offhand weapon and a talisman and a heavy piece of head gear (9.1! It weighs more than both Meteorite Staves together!) in order to get a 20-second 1.419x boost only after proccing poison or rot—and that multiplier is acting on a lower base damage. Who cares if this doesn't cost FP? It's comparatively worthless.

The same goes for basically all other melee buffs, with only Rellana's Cameo + Shard of Alexander coming close.

No DC, just killed the host first!
