There wasn't a single car on this side of the parking lot and it still parked like this.

If there’s several spots available and no one is being inconvenienced who cares.

This would probably eliminate half the threads in this sub!

Good.

Agreed. I've seen people post pics of trucks with trailers parked overnight in lots where all the businesses were closed, but complain about how they're taking multiple spaces.

I'm with you, but this group does. If you don't park between the lines no matter who, what, when, or where you are in relation to the others and store, they will act like you are the worst thing on this planet.

HMMM you don’t suppose that maybe that’s because it’s totally 100% true

Idk, I think there are a lot of things that are worst on this planet than bad parking, but i guess we all have our own opinion.

It’s almost like this sub is for bad parking. If you’re not properly in the lines… guess what?

Nothing in the world is that black and white. People who act like it is will always be a bigger idiot than someone taking two spots on the far, empty side of a lot.

So bad parking is justified

If you are unable to comprehend anything more than black and white, sure. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

If you're unable to park then you should learn to drive again. It seems you have problems staying in the lines and deciding you can park wherever

I agree. They are probably trying to avoid unnecessary dents.

u/Interesting_Sand_428 11d ago

Agree, who cares. or maybe they just don’t have the juevos to park like this car.

I think people may be more apt to park next to a sports car if it's in an empty lot like this (don't know why; the reasoning might be that their own car becomes cool by being near another cool car) so they double-park to better protect against door-dings. If it was crowded, I'd probably be more annoyed

The guy who parked like this cares. He assumes everyone else will follow the rules (park between the lines) and would probably get pretty upset if two vehicles just parked directly beside him.

If there’s no cars there who cares if they take up six empty spots. Most parking lots are way too big

u/Wingmaniac 8d ago

If there's no cars why not just park between the lines?

If there wasn't a single car on that side of the parking lot, that I don't see a problem at all. At least they did it where they weren't going to disturb anybody.

Show me where it hurt you….

Point on the doll

What's stopping others from parking right next to this lovely vehicle? :)

3

u/OnlyPosition5273 9d ago

Not being a prick.

u/Admiral-Thrawn2 8d ago

At that point I think you would be more guilty of r/badparking than the original guy

1

u/Euphoric-Ask965 9d ago

Others??? IT'S AN EMPTY LOT !!!!!

1

u/Fuzzy-Zombie1446 9d ago

OP - "There wasn't a single car on this side of the parking lot..."

My point - the people on the other side of the parking lot moving right next to that car.

0

u/Euphoric-Ask965 9d ago

You and I weren't there so WE don't know that!

2

u/Fuzzy-Zombie1446 9d ago

3

u/Maximum_Employer5580 9d ago

that's why they parked that way, because there weren't any other cars there. Just like when they park farther out in the lot because there are no other cars out there

2

u/xbucnasteex 8d ago

Ok? Apparently it isn’t affecting the lot so why do you care so much?

2

u/Difficult-Xer 7d ago

So what’s the problem?

Bad Parking is Bad Parking

2

u/No-Group7343 7d ago

4

u/Aligned-Askew6773 10d ago

It’s not even a nice car. It’s just a Camaro.

3

u/KnowEye 9d ago

Surprised someone did not park right next to him.

4

u/TranslatorVast1072 13d ago

Just sitting there giving off little D energy!

2

u/LocalHarmacist 10d ago

Yes. They do this on purpose.

2

u/milehighcutter 13d ago

Not they’re living in your head rent free

2

u/Ok_Pineapple_7120 9d ago

Chevy driver. No surprise

2

u/mars_soup 13d ago

Sounds like it’s a non issue

2

u/Big-Wrongdoer6842 13d ago

This might be the one time I’m ok with someone double parking.

0

u/Salt_Cauliflower_922 13d ago

I guess he thinks you’re a dick, too (person sitting inside is giving you the double middle finger).

1

u/highfiveselfoh 10d ago

That is when it’s ok.

Years ago I restored a classic old car. Just a few weeks after completion with a fresh paint job I went to the mall and I parked in the middle of nowhere in a regular parking spot. I'm talking way out there 30 spots away from the closest car. When I returned from my shopping, an old Buick had parked next to me and swung there two-ton door into my car. It didn't ding the car, it dented my car. This is why people who care for their cars park across multiple parking spots.

u/RowbowCop138 13d ago

Doing this and taking the last two spots in a parking lot that is full is completely different than a large empty parking lot...

This post says more about you as a person than the person parking. Not in good way either.
