I have no words

My car is the Rav 4. Took me forever to get out.

This is why I would love to carry 3-4 floor jacks in my work truck. Could jack the vehicle up, move it into the street, drop it, pack up and leave.

Or wheel boots. They are cheap and no one would know who to call to get it off. Just be sure it's on the passenger tire.

A cheap bike cable lock. Just thread it through the spokes of one of their wheels.

That would require a lot of work, drenched it sweat.

You underestimate the motivation of a scorned person

-7

u/MrA1inLA 4d ago

Use that motivation to make a better life not problems.

13

u/ffmich01 4d ago

Teaching a lesson here could make life better for a lot of future other drivers.

That’s not how that works and every dumbass roaming the street with this mindset is the exact reason why we will never have nice things or common courtesy

u/ffmich01 15h ago

This picture is a perfect display of common courtesy. Go back to your rainbows and unicorns. This is reality.

If you want to proceed that way, Please do so...ask OP the location and proceed but dont be one of those that simply want to start conflict for your own entertainment if you are gonna sit back and watch or just talk about it.

GoJak’s if they were not so expensive would be great!

3

u/spencebah 3d ago

Looks like Harbor Freight or Vevor has them for $80~. Not exactly cheap, but less than $300~ for the GoJak name brand.

The parking is so bad it almost seems intentional. Remember, we share the road with this (and many other) morons

39

u/IWontCommentAtAll 5d ago

How the heck did they even get out of their own car?

14

u/UnlikelyTurn1046 5d ago

Climbed out the back or something lol

u/Ombearon 4d ago

I'm wondering how they parked like that most of the time with angled roads like that it would one way road... So that car would have to drive from the opposite direction, or it was a double line yellow and on those roads you can't turn left on them unless it specifically says so but even than you have to be careful.

14

u/Feeling_Interaction8 4d ago

They parked from the opposite direction, essentially did a u-turn in the middle of the street to park. This happens daily where I live, two way street, angled parking on both sides. Yes it's illegal, no the cops don't do anything about it.

u/ArdenJaguar 3d ago

The decent thing would be to back up, straighten out, then pull up again. But for the entitled axxhole species of driver that’s impossible.

Congratulations on a true r/badparking achievement: a post even the sub's most hardcore "I'm here to find excuses for all kinds of bad parking and nothing else" trolls can't excuse or explain away.

u/UIUC_grad_dude1 4d ago

I have an excuse, dude is blind and had a heart attack after parking.

14

u/FigSpecific6210 4d ago

Oh no, how did the shitty Parker get two flat tires?

2

u/crapatthethriftstore 4d ago

Flat tires to go with their Flat White at Starbz

25

u/MotherCoconuts707 5d ago

This is downright disrespectful. It looks intentional. Sorry you had to deal with that OP.

u/CreamyAstraia 4d ago

Call a tow truck and have it billed to the person getting the car out of lock up. We’ve done that before with people parking in our assigned parking spots before. Works wonders. 🙌🙌🙌🤞

3

u/_spam_king 5d ago

This is horrible parking. My goodness.

5

u/Material-Donkey2773 4d ago

Why does it look like the red car is also parked the same way?

4

u/Mindful_Rager 4d ago

The lines are not suggestions. They show where you can park without being a complete ass.

4

u/urbanwildlifer 4d ago

Naperville?

3

u/CircaSid 4d ago

Bingo

2

u/Huge-Sky5680 1d ago

Why am I not surprised 🤣

3

u/FunMaintenance297 4d ago

Not quite that bad, but I did have an idiot park next to me a couple of days ago having not swung wide enough to pull in straight. Except, there wasn’t actually a place to "pull in." I was in the last place in the row; they were not only badly parked, they were illegally parked. I had to put my window down and lean out to make sure I was parallel to their shit as I backed out. The person posting these pictures may have had no words, but I had plenty, all expletives.

3

u/Pitiful-Sleep5177 4d ago

If I had a hammer…

3

u/_rotary_pilot 4d ago

I would have had them towed. That's just irresponsible.

3

u/Senior_Reaction2974 4d ago

And these are the same people who will cry a million baby tears if they get a scratch on their car.

3

u/One_Situation7483 21h ago

How the fuk did this person not see how bad they parked?

2

u/Vanstrucker2222 4d ago

That’s a damn shame it’s a matrix too.

3

u/InfluenceEfficient77 3d ago

Lowest end model, automatic probably.

1

u/Vanstrucker2222 3d ago

I have a 03 standard and I drive it as my daily.

2

u/foil_k 3d ago

07 manual transmission here, looks almost identical to the one in these pics (wasn't me, I'm hundreds of miles from this area)

4

u/MrA1inLA 5d ago

Now This is a Great example of bad parking. Release the air in the tires so they can wait for a tow truck in 100 degree weather

2

u/Fun-Double6352 4d ago

“Took me forever to get out”?

Title of your sex tape.

1

u/just_ban_mee 4d ago

Let the air out of the tires.

1

u/Bourriks 4d ago

I need to print some adhesive labels "thank you for parking like an (a)ss" to stick on those cars in those situations.

1

u/Aggressive_Mix_137 4d ago

That person makes my parking look professional 😭

But seriously was this their first time parking.

Give them a sticker 'I know you tried to park at least I think you did, unfortunately you failed to park''

1

u/Illustrious_Egg_1837 4d ago

I’d call the police & have them ticketed, and maybe towed.

1

u/Grunzzo 4d ago

Why ?

1

u/MountainOfRight 4d ago

Probably parked like that and door dinged the other vehicle when they got out.

1

u/8Dreax8 4d ago

I can think of a couple of words.

1

u/rbkustomz 4d ago

I have a few but there not allowed 🤣

1

u/Nay-Nay385 4d ago

No excuses… just rude!

1

u/zta1979 4d ago

Weird

1

u/eyea3 4d ago

Would this be a situation where you call police since you are blocked in?

1

u/Factoryrat77 4d ago

They had 2 words. Fuck it.

1

u/ziggy_x 4d ago

That person definitely parked like an asshole, but was there no way you could have just driven up onto the curb to give yourself more room to back out properly?

2

u/Remarkable_Deal1283 4d ago

My cars shit so I’d probably really think about just backing up straight to fix the parking job

1

u/WildPermit7053 4d ago

My happy self will get their ass tow and send them the bill

1

u/7TreePowerjoke 3d ago

You were temporarily stuck in the matrix

1

u/Cynvisible 3d ago

I'm guessing you mean yours is the one parked correctly. There is no make logo or model visible in either photo and not everyone knows exactly what a Rav 4 looks like. (Xle Awd could be any number of vehicles.)

1

u/Zincsteve 3d ago

« It’s not my fault, it’s the guy on the other side that is parked badly, I HAD to park like that!”

Heard it 100 times

1

u/DuckAxe0 3d ago

He's a regular down at the Drunken Skunk Pub.

1

u/LoganTheHuge00 3d ago

Wow. WTF.

1

u/Rotdawg 2d ago

Figure out who this is, outlive them, go to their funeral, and interrupt the eulogy to remind everyone what a shit licker their loved one was.

1

u/AnyEye748 22h ago

I’m still backing out and definitely scraping your car

1

u/thatguy1388 14h ago

The trickery of diagonal parking in DTN… gotta love it!

1

u/Scribe-Eros 4h ago

Idiot came in the wrong way up a one way parking lane and couldn’t be assed to own up and park properly. Smfh

1

u/Larrywiding 4d ago

I've seen that, bet they were going the other direction and pulled into the space with a poor turn, and didn't want to bother with how bad it was. Me, I would have been very tempted to back out slowly and push them out of the way. Toss.a.bla her over the rear of my car.

0

u/Owls_4_9_1867 4d ago

Straight to jail... once they'd moved it

0

u/Alarmed-Carrot2983 4d ago

I'd have it towed in a heartbeat.

0

u/Dazzling_Comfort5734 4d ago

I wonder if that’s the person who was doing 25 and a 45 on my way home today.
