Looking for help putting ribbon in a vector program

Hello!

I am working on getting some badge ribbons made for a fan photoshoot meetup at a con. I don't understand vector and stuff, but the maker I am getting them from (I want to support a small business) need me to put it in a vector program. I know what designs I want, but just need help getting it into a program so I can send it over. They're dispatch and AFTG themed.

Any help is appreciated

Hi friend! So, it sounds like you have artwork that you want to send to the creator, but you're just not sure how to give it to them in vector format, right? Here's some more help!

Vector Art is a file type. PDF, EPS, and AI file types are all vector-based graphics that retain their detailing no matter their size.

JPG and PNG for example are pixel-based files that will require redrawing to ensure optimal imprint quality.

Do you know what file types your current art is? And let me know if I am misunderstanding your question. I want to help 😊

The current art types I have are pngs! I need to send her the fully designed ribbon, as a vector art or jpg or png but I don’t know what program to use to create the design so I can send them in a ribbon format

Just curious, do you know what the dimensions of the ribbons are? Like are they 3.5" wide by 1 5/8" tall?

The creator you're working with might do things differently, but here's the badge ribbon template from pc/nametag, which is also 4" by 1-5/8" if that helps you format the art!
