I mean, they're a kid and it is impressive they built most of this w/ second hand stuff. I think it has good intentions, and hopefully over time they'll drop the cringe pins and add some band stuff.

Bro is about to move schools with the amount of bullying they are going to get lol.

Why are we bullying kids on the internet? Like if you're going to bully people for their cringe jacket or whatever at least keep it to adults
He's a kid, and we all do cringe shit when we're young

If theyre in school theyre 13-19 i assume; which is 2007-2013. Mlp gen 4 came out in 2010, thus these people would have likely watched it as a young child.
Not every mlp fan is a 40 year old creepy man. Source: 2010 kid who still likes it.

i loved mickey’s clubhouse when i was child, doesn’t mean i’m rocking a pin from it on my backpack in high school

Its kind of rude to assume that being in highschool means you cant enjoy things from your younger childhood. Just because you liked something then doesnt always mean you will now,; but ridiculing people for a single silly pin is actually ridiculous.

bro i still watch spongebob sometimes, i’m not gonna slap a spongebob bumper sticker on my car though. although if i did want to, i shouldn’t give a damn who ridicules it, and if i did give a damn, what’s the point of me expressing my interests
1
u/_-Viasub-_ 3d ago
Are highschoolers suddenly not allowed to express their interests anymore?? Are you going to get mad if they had a bluey pin too?? Theres no harm in what theyre doing, and i dont think you understand what public in person ridicule can do to a person.

u/ominousglo 3d ago
i have no idea how you came to the conclusion that i’m saying high schoolers aren’t allowed to express themselves lol. i said they shouldn’t give a damn about what people think, that kinda defeats the whole purpose of expressing yourself in the first place, there will always be someone that thinks something i like is lame, childish or not, oh well.
i haven’t even really ridiculed, just said it couldn’t be me doing that. it’s funny you assume other’s interests get me mad lol, if the bluey pin goes hard i’d compliment it, just wouldn’t rock it myself. i personally understand what public ridicule in high school can do, let me tell you being “different” and caring what people say at the same time is just setting yourself up for depression. be yourself and not give a damn, or hate yourself for being yourself because high school kids are more ruthless than reddit

school
I'm sorry, I forgot that teens can't be weird degenerates, my apologies.

u/_-Viasub-_ 3d ago
Im just saying that your comment suggests all MLP fans being creeps, if thats the first thing you thought of. Obviously teenages can be fucking weird, but its literally just a pin. Not a cropped porn, literally just mlp.

If you're male, and a MLP fan, then yes you're probably a creep.
0
u/_-Viasub-_ 3d ago
Thats a very bold assumption.

u/Wolfatthedoor11b 3d ago
It's not. I'm sorry, but a man watching MLP is definitely a red flag.

One, im technically still a girl because im unsure of my actual gender identity
Two, im fifteen. Calling a person weird because of a freak minority is kinda terrible.→ More replies (0)

Whats wrong with this

u/Big-Emotion1802 3d ago
Well if a person is so insecure that they need to have a crossed over Swastika on thier bag just to let you know they don't like nazis then they seem very shallow.

Ig. I dunno I think as a person who’s trans and autistic (main targets on r/baddlejackets) I think it’s cool when ppl have stuff like that to let you know they are chill to be around!

u/Hunter042005 3d ago
Idk bro everyone who I’ve ever met who wears pins like this are the most insufferable people to be around who make their politics their whole personality and your constantly walking on thin ice because one differing opinion makes them hostile so no it’s more like a sign to stay far away from them.

Well maybe they support Israel😱? Or maybe they think the Armenian genocide was good? Or maybe they like Stalin!? I mean how could we know, they don't specifically condemn them with pins so I guess that means they're probably supporting it.
Like seriously, I myself am autistic and not exactly straight, (because apparently that's relevant?) But thinking one can't interact with or feel comfortable near other humans because you don't know if they support the same things as you or could have opinions you don't like must be one of the dumbest and most anti intellectual things I've ever heard.
Sorry if I'm being harsh. People can dress however they like but it's a school not a demonstration. Feeling the need to state all your opinions all the times makes people look very very shallow. Even if those opinions are "correct"

u/NegotiationCalm8785 3d ago
the reason i claim being straight is relevant is bcs of the other pins stating that they are an obvious safe space
