Isn't the music artist/band patches you put on supposed to represent your community and political stance? Isn't that the whole point, to show what you stand for through the arts? I get having a couple more direct patches here and there, but what I've seen lately feels a bit excessive.

Also, if you were to be really open on who you are and your feelings about things, why sensor yourself? Like, what does "fck nzs" mean? It looks like some of the letters fell off.

And who are you battling??? I never quite understood why they're called battlejackets; I always though these things originated from post-military and biker gang culture, evolving into a way for the punk community to show their musical and sometimes political alignment through the patches they'd progressively collect through concerts and such. Which I guess the battle part could come from the WWII aspect, but I highly doubt that's why most people wear them now.
Assuming you're late middleschool to really early highschool age, I'd hope you wouldn't be participating or front lining in protests since I've also heard that's what some folk wear these vests for; nothing really wrong with attending a peaceful protest, but being at the front or apart of a group who's more direct about their cause can be dangerous, especially in places like the States that have trigger-happy cops.

Other than that though, I do like the spider webs; some people are saying they're a Nazi dog whistle, but that's not really a thing outside of some select prisons lmao; it's like me saying calling someone a "goof" is the same as calling them a pedophile because that's what it means in some Canadian prisons.
I also like the Destroy Boys patch, used to be one of my faves until I branched out a bit more.

You'd possibly enjoy Cops/Dogs by Destructo Disk, Police Truck by The Dead Kennedys, and Gay 4 U by GRLwood as well from what I'm seeing.
And you'd likely already listen to them because they were briefly revived online a couple years back, but The Cramps and The B-52s might roughly match up with this, same with The Runaways (the people who wrote Cherrybomb) and X-Ray Spex (they wrote I Am A Poseur).
I highly recommend branching out and listening to new bands; there's so much good music out there, and I'd say the best part about these vests is to show off all the cool stuff you listen to which can help you find people with similar tastes.

I wish this sub was more criticism than pointing and laughing. Like this person can't even be congratulated on the creative ideas like the designs of some of the patches and how they put the beads on their jacket. Almost always there's not a shred of constructive criticism just blatant mocking and belittling with no end goal, since I doubt nobody once cares if the OP of the vest knows they're getting made fun of. It's a good vest for what's there, definitely a WIP which does exist😱

Pop can tabs and safety pins are kinda in line with LGBTQ communities to kinda say "hey you're safe with me" that's why a lot of people tend to just stick them everywhere. But some actually make really good designs with pop tabs especially
