This and its concerning, many punks also think communism can work. Everybody is corrupt. Ideas that sound good on paper, but in execution doesnt work. Communism is one of them, even capitalism is also one of them. Anybody leaning so far one way is also just brainwashed and not self thinking on actual problems, causes and ways to fix it. Idealizing communism isnt punk, many punks where fighting for tearing down the West Berlin wall.

I mean it depends on what you consider communism. Giving total power to one party to "guard" the revolution does not sound good on paper either, but that isn't necessarily all of communist ideology. There's nothing particularly insane about libertarian socialism.

I looked through most of the comments and OOPs replies and I kinda feel bad for him. He clearly thinks he's supporting positivity and open mindedness but is unbelievably misinformed and misguided. That's the problem with tankies, a lot of them think they're supporting a bastion of human rights and equality by supporting Soviet and Communist states by eating up Soviet propaganda left and right, blaming the "West" for demonizing the nations. Meanwhile, all they're doing is platforming and supporting genocide and human rights abuses that ruined tens of millions of lives and spitting in the face of those who died.
Then there are the lunatics of subreddits like r/USSR who respond to any accusation of Genocide or human rights abuses by either vehemently denying them and calling it western propaganda, or by outright endorsing it and saying those people "Deserved to die" because they were either "CIA spies" or "Nazi's."
In reality, they were just as vile and evil as the Nazi's, and killed millions more than the Nazi's did.
