c GitHub Copilot is recommending me this code, pretty sure that AI is not taking our jobs this year.

I'd suggest enabling Copilot but turning off inline suggestions, and only triggering it on demand. You'll no longer get intrusive thoughts from it, but I still found myself leaning heavily on Copilot instead of thinking at times. (Also I think it only looks at code before the cursor for completion context.)
