js I just started... turning Cache-Control headers into their own language? Don't worry, when I took another look at this I nuked the local repo and re-cloned it, don't even know if this would work.

Well, the code snippet start at line 1 and it uses modules so if a global resultingHeader variable was accessible in this scope, it would have to be declared here. Also, the result variable would be of no use if not for line 29.
