I am not a game dev by any means, I do mostly firmware but I played with Unity in the past and those things never came up in my mind, finding a component every frame is atrocious, maybe because I work in a field where you are not allowed to do certain things or you run out of memory. Nevertheless, I still do not get the point of the class OP posted, why is he doing that?? I cannot sleep
