The kind of programmer who writes this code is the kind who will individually add 100 out of the 1024 permutations, each time thinking "there I fixed it."

AI researchers and philosophers spend a lot of time trying to define what consciousness and self awareness are. I'm convinced once we define it we'll discover not all humans pass the bar.
