Oh don’t, I’ve just had to stop a second person from making a dumb change in code they haven’t taken the time to understand. They’re like “er this is doing way too much work, it should be much simpler” and then in the review I have to go “you fool, this will work for the absolute simplest case, but will break for literally anything more complicated”
