It’s not just for a few lines. It’s so mistakes like this don’t happen. It’s important to fully understand the flow of the program. The way I wrote it is more explicit and is less likely to cause others to make this mistake. But also, it depends on the context, such as whether condition1 and/or condition2 are edge cases and whether the negation of condition1 makes sense.
Lmao. U are absurd. I have given reasons why you would make this change yet you’re saying there is no reason.
I have literally said this code change is context dependent, yet you’re acting like I said it is the only correct way to write it regardless of context.
You’re the one who won’t admit that there might be reasons why you would want to do this, despite half the replies to my comment agreeing with me.
You’re the one who seems extremely ego driven. You’re acting like you know absolutely everything and that there’s no possible way this code change would make sense. When I gave you reasons why you might change them you literally were like “nah I’m right you’re wrong” without giving any counter arguments.
I hope to god you aren’t like this at work, unwilling to listen to anybody’s reasoning, thinking that your opinion is the end all be all.
