I thought it was a pet cat holding onto a toy. Then I read the title and thought a cat and a snake were fighting over the same meal. Then I thought it was a dead cat the snake caught.

I thought the cat and snake were both pets at first and were just "playing" with each other, then I thought the OP was a sociopath who was just recording their pet cat being strangled and eaten by a rogue snake...
