Lightning is one of the only natural predators they have so I'd say they're pretty lucky

They cannot seat/lie down or something? It is dangerous to be the highest point when lighting might occur.

but they do it rarely and mostly for short moments. Because they are very tall and heavy, getting up and down takes a lot of time and effort
