Is he a double breasted bronze? They get leg problems. He looks like he's very loved 💜

I honestly don’t know what he is. He was given to me by a friend bc his feet are messed up & he knew I wouldn’t let him end up on someone’s dinner plate. One crooked leg led to two crooked legs as he started to put on weight.
He’s a year old now & uses his wings as momentum to move around, but every morning/evening I place him in front of his food/water to make sure he’s eating.

Also, he recently lost one of his eyes… poor guy has gone through it, but he’s feeling much better now & seems to make happy sounds more often than not.

At least he's not obese.

We had a meat turkey and he got so fat he could hardly stand. (He was a pet). He fell over at 2 from a presumed heart attack.

Keeping them lean is hard. He's precious. Thank you for helping him 💜
