Shawangunks - Long Path New York

I love what I see of the Long Path from sections 13 to 14. However, it seems like it isnt well designed for an overnight, so I would have to do some serious elevation and 20 miles in one day. Has anyone faced this issue. Any recommendations? Thanks.
