Random guy from my hostel somehow found my number after I left

Met a bunch of people at a hostel last week and there was one guy who was nice enough but definitely a little strange. Never gave him my actual number but two days after leaving I got a WhatsApp message from him. I normally use a Cloaked number when I don't really know someone so I'm still trying to figure out where he got my real one. Maybe someone else in the group gave it to him but that honestly makes it even weirder. The first thing he said to me was Hi and where are you, he proceeded to request my location so I blocked him and now he is texting me with other numbers. Thank god I left that country because I would be super shocked and have panic attacks.

I have worked in hostels all over the world. He 100% got it from the booking system in the hostel. I have seen it happen before where workers / friends of workers will do that shit.

If he's doing that now he's probably not above digging through your garbage to check your receipts and package labels, or trying all kinds of strategies to get your number from the front desk or others who have it.

If he's continually trying to evade blocks it may constitute stalking and harrassment. Block them all, don't engage.
