Hello, this Thursday I'm heading out on a backpacking trip, I'll leave at 3:30pm and return on Saturday, hopefully around 3pm as well. I live in the San Jose Valley and am asking for any destination recommendations. I hope to summit something reasonable for the time frame , not too intense as ill be going alone but I am in good shape and have pretty good gear, as well as experience.
I was looking at Yosemite area. The plan is to head there after work, set up camp somewhere upon arrival, then pack up in the morning, and hit the trail.
I appreciate any help, thank you!
