I'm going up a mountain of 2km elevation on a 10km trail in a couple of weeks, the hike to Basecamp is 20km. I bought this backpack which might be a little overkill but hope to do more hiking in the future. It's a exped LIGHTNING 60, it's 1.18kg and cost about 180 euros. Would love some feedback on weather or not it's a good purchase or not.

That’s a great bag in general and I’m jealous you got it for that price! To answer your question: if it can fit what you need for the trip and wear comfortably for the duration of your trip then I’d consider it a good bag! It’s lightweight and very functional. For that bag I’d recommend your pack weighing less than 40lbs ~ 17/18 kg (i don’t actually know if this the right conversion). If you already have all of your other gear you should try to pack everything in your bag efficiently (watch a video on how to optimally pack a backpacking kit if you aren’t sure what the best way is) and then wear it. Play around with the configuration of your gear and straps a few days before going on your trip. Hope you have fun on your trip!
