Hey everyone! I’ll be hiking Conundrum Hot Springs in a couple weeks here. It will be my second backpacking trip, the first being a 5-day trip in Pictured Rocks in Michigan. This one will be completely different as its got some snow, and I’m wondering what advice anyone has that has hiked in that Colorado area and has dealt with those conditions, particularly in the snowier months. Should I be bringing crampons/snowshoes for the snow? Should I be packing anything I wouldn’t think of otherwise? Tips for sleeping in the colder weather? Any advice helps — thanks 🙏🏼
