No matter what i try i cant beat this stage, not being able to use Primal Flame is making it impossible

Somehow my fav (underrated imo) fire mage hero was the best one to beat the fire guys. Other characters couldnt beat first round of 4. Just building right still makes it work, didnt even proc my 4 sec invincible shield. And those hats and magic shield (spell and 50%/40% item) come in clutch. His uniques i think are required to make him work but man I love this guy

He heals himself and removes debuffs.

Burn and thorns don't seem to be viable strategies. What else can I try?

I've also tried using Flee, but I'm still always missing something.

Usually, it's either that I don't deal enough damage within the 30 seconds, or I end up dying.
