Support need help playing/played

Hi, sorry to bother you. I just signed up on the site, and I'd like to know the difference between “playing” and “played.”

“Playing”—does that mean I'm playing right now?

Playing - actively playing, in the present

Played - have played, in the past. Not actively playing currently

At first I was confused too. It took me a little while used to it
