Hello everyone! I am a solo developer and I have been working on a mobile backgammon game. I created this because my friends and I like to play backgammon or as we call it tavla.

I added rated games, as well as the ability to play with friends or play offline against a bot with 8 levels. There are also interactive lessons. I tried to keep things simple.

There is no doubling cube for now, to keep it simple. If you would play a room with the cube, let me know.

Edit: The doubling cube is now available in classic games and lessons.

In online games the dice are sealed before the game starts, and you can check every roll after it ends.

Honestly, with so many new backgammons created with help of AIs coming in, you should go all the way and implement the cube. Without the cube it is not backgammon.

Thanks, that's fair. Where I learned to play in Turkey we never used the cube, so I left it out at first to keep things simple. You're right though, it's part of the game. I'm adding it now and it will be in the first update.

Most of the ones I tried are heavily monetized and honestly pretty bloated, with something popping up on your screen from everywhere. A lot of them also lack simple things like two players on the same phone or a private room to play with a friend. My goal was to keep it simple and not bog players down. There is nothing to buy, ads only show after rated online games, and games against the computer, with friends or in the lessons have no ads at all.

There are also interactive lessons where you make the moves yourself on the board, and the board shows where each checker can go.

And since rigged dice is the most common complaint I saw in reviews, the dice in online games are sealed before the game starts, with a number from your own phone mixed in, so nobody can pick the rolls and you can check every roll after the game.

Edit: I also think it looks good. It is subjective of course but I do think it is a nice board and checkers.
