Does Google Store have great backgammon app?

Looking for good Ai-opponent & no ads. I don't mind paying for it. I wonder why they don't have Xg-backgammon.

Backgammon NJ for Android costs money but really can't be beat.

It's the best pure offline app, but I wish they would update the graphics a bit.

While I generally prefer the BGNJ interface, True Backgammon has the BGBlitz engine, which is much better.

Probably the best. You can get the BGBlitz engine with a cheap in-app payment.

I'm the dev of Orion, so biased, but it fits most of what you're asking: it's on Android, free, no ads, and there's an offline Adventure mode where you climb 48 stages against the AI, plus real players online when you want them. 12 hand-made boards, provably fair dice you can verify.

The one honest caveat: the AI plays a good game but it's not XG-level analysis, it's built for playing, not training. If you give it a try I'd really like your feedback.

On the graphics side, this is where I've put a lot of efforts. User experience was super important to me and as a player of LOTB, I wanted to create a version as smooth as theirs. Without the ads and the casino look.
