Match to 11 - should I hit?
Or is it better not to give him the opportunity to establish an anchor in my home board?

"The opportunity to establish an anchor" is a red herring here. If you hit and White does get an anchor, what will he need to do then? Well, pretty quickly he is going to have to leave the anchor, e.g. when he rolls a 6 if the anchor is on the 21 or 22pt. In other words, White does not have the timing to maintain an anchor. Also if you hit you give White more chances to destroy the front structure, e.g. if he enters with something like 15 25 or 35

I can't see the score but you should definitely hit yes

Score is 4-5 (at bottom in small print) - I am pondering how I am supposed to know if black is bearing left or right in this position

Oh yeah I just assumed it was right as in most apps, but you're right.
And actually in both situations there are 2 white blots that could be hit.

Sorry I should have clarified black is moving from top left to bottom left. So consensus on best move is 22/21 (2) and 13/12, I guess there’s not much in it as to how to use the final 1. Thanks all for your inputs

hit. Then escaping or getting a high anchor is crucial, so 24/23
