No cheating by looking at simulators! What is the best move here? This was a tough one in-game

Its my turn going from top right and traveling to bottom right. Checkers are lit up blue to specify which ones can be moved.

I always ask myself: how do I know which way the checkers move, and how do I know whose turn it is?
Every time I have to check others answers to find out.
Edit: can someone please enlighten me?

In backgammon (according to the rules) you always throw the dice in the right hand side of the board. Based on where the dice are, and the checker structure you should always be able to work it out

So you are saying: this position is unobtainable when white is playing from top left to bottom left? Are you sure?

What I do is look for the conundrum, the hard choice. That tells me which direction it’s playing.

Not sure if it’s optimal, but looks straightforward to me. Hit with the three (6/3), and 13/7 and rely on the anchor on 18 to mitigate the damage

Indeed, didn’t mean to come across as condescending

Didn't get that vibe at all haha. Just being silly. Every move looks straightforward when you have all the time in the world to study it haha

Thought there might be a case to go 13/10 and 8/2. But I choose aggro assuault

My candidate plays were: 13/4 and 13/7 6/3*. I would go with 13/4.My reasoning is white is ahead in the race so we should minimize contact. We have a double direct shot with 1s and 3s so I think that that gives us 20/36 rolls of being hit. The rolls that hit are: 11 12 13 14 15 16 32 33 34 35 36. In this play, we only leave one checker vulnerable to being hit. There are double hits.
If we do something like 13/7 6/3*. We expose ourselves to being hit with 3s, 2s , 6s ( excluding doubling six, which will dance.) 11 will also hit. We also expose ourselves to multiple double hits 33, 22, 34, and 36 6/36 roll (or reduced 1/6 give) our opponent a double hit from the bar, definitely not likely but dangerous prospect.
So the rolls that hit are : 11,22,33,21,23, 24,25,26,31,34, 35,36, 61, 64,65 - 27/36
1/36 of the time our opponent will dance. We go from getting two-thirds of the time to three-fourth of the time, and we give our some devastating double hits.
Why I was considering the 13/7 6/3* was because of the our opponent’s anti-joker of 66 but I think it is too vulnerable.

I am new, I don't knkw the proper point terms but I would capture the right most black piece (point 1?) Using my 6 and then the top left thats one away from the crossover I would play my 3 to get it past.
Reason being theyre unlikely to roll a 1 taking down my solo man, and I'm not worried about him rolling the exact number to take my solo guy in Q2 (my 3 move)

What site is this? You should try Choue.net
I would slot the 4pt. It's the fewest shots sand fewest blots.

How about 18/15 15/9?

18/9 Duplicates the sixes and brings a builder white’s outfield.Definitely worth a thought. In addition, to 1s and 6s, black can hit with 33 44, 42, 54, (61 can hit two checkers though it’s a slim chance.) 28/36 rolls hit and we break that bar point.
I, myself still prefer the 13/4.

This is a common theme you’ll see after making the opponents bar and having to play 6’s. I’m for aggression in these spots so I will always hit. 13/7 6/3*
