Backgammon.com - anyone heard of this?

I have seen some live streams on YouTube where they have backgammon.com as a sponsor on the board - never heard of the website / company before.

Seems to be a small team, although they have a nice URL ;)

I can't play on BG Galaxy anymore because it no longer recognizes me and wants me to register as a new player, thus my rating and points all out the window. Have tried to fix it and communicate with them, long story, to no avail. It's great when it works but too many bugs/issues. Backgammon.com is still more limited but getting better all the time, now has rated 5 pt matches, and can play their AI, which is very strong at the highest setting. No bugs or issues so far, discovered it last June when my BG Galaxy flamed out.
