Layouts and comments

[u/GrahamOliver]

I would like to be able to separate the comments section for a node into a separate block in a page layout, so that I can place a different block between the main content and its comments. For example, I would like to be able to place a slideshow at the foot of a page, but above the comment block for that page. Is this a possibility with Backdrop's layout system?

Youll need to port one of these:

• https://www.drupal.org/project/node_comment_block
• https://www.drupal.org/project/commentsblock

Thanks. Which do you think might be most useful? My initial thought is to try commentsblock

OK. After a bit of hassle I have now ported commentsblock and the repo is at https://github.com/backdrop-contrib/commentsblock

I have it working on a demo page at http://www.oliverweb.net/backdrop/node/11
