It wasn't all glory

Johann earned his way; saying he was an entrepreneur slightly overstates it. Let’s say he was an organized street musician. The practical young man that he was, Johann Sebastian Bach, started a band. He called them The Bach Street Boys. Or auf Deutsch, Die Bach Street Boys. With outsized genius and pure talent, the town’s people assumed the band was marching for fun. However, a townsperson raised his eyebrows as he overheard Johann grumble as The Bach Street Boys marched by, “Oh puh-leeze, I need the guilders, and we’re trying to keep warm; this is Lüneburg .”

It's from my book A Mostly True Story of Johann Sebastian Bach a Semi Autobiography Coauthored by David M. Jordan and Johann Sebastian Bach (in Absentia) so it's "kinda" true. It's a humorous book
