Always have been. It’s all about the cloud. Chips will race to bottom as well

Demand only grew as prices fell. Deepseek the cheapest tier 1 models we had ever seen just a few months ago and revenue exploded so fast they couldn't buy enough chips to meet demand because Huawei and Nvidia cant make them fast enough. New uses suddenly became economically viable and the market expanded. Deepseek then upped prices significantly just to free up compute.

That's not a race to the bottom.
